Who is responsible
This website is operated by the Paudyn Real Estate Group, whose registrants trade through Sutton Group - Masters Realty Inc., Brokerage. We are accountable for personal information under our control and use service providers only for identified business purposes.
Ricky Paudyn is the privacy contact for this website. Questions, access requests or privacy complaints may be sent to Rickypaudyn@gmail.com, made by phone at 613-532-0522, or mailed to Paudyn Real Estate Group, c/o Sutton Group - Masters Realty Inc., Brokerage, Unit 101, 705 Arlington Park Place, Kingston, Ontario K7M 7E4.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, inquiry details, property interests, marketing choices and the information you choose to send us.
Registered market access and listing alerts may also record acceptance of the applicable terms or consent, verification and access status, requested areas, price ranges or listing identifiers, timestamps, internet address and browser information. A short-lived hashed email identifier is used to limit automated alert requests. Essential email-verification, access and security cookies may be used to operate protected features. We do not ask for payment-card or government-identification information through this website.
The website records limited first-party analytics such as page paths, area or listing views, referral domain, a temporary browser-session identifier and actions such as phone, email or social link clicks. These analytics events do not contain names, email addresses, telephone numbers, form contents or inquiry text. Google Analytics may also receive page URLs and titles, referral source, approximate location, device and browser information and similar engagement events. We do not send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, form contents or inquiry text to Google Analytics.
Why we use it
We use personal information to respond to inquiries, provide requested real estate services, deliver requested listing alerts, secure registered VOW access, maintain consent and compliance records, protect the site, diagnose technical problems and send market updates when a person has agreed to receive them. Analytics helps us understand which pages, listings and outreach sources are useful and whether the site leads visitors to contact us.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use VOW registration as automatic consent for marketing. If a new purpose is materially different from the purpose identified when information was collected, we will seek consent unless the law permits or requires otherwise.
Consent and email choice
First-party analytics and Google Analytics operate when the site loads to measure site usage and engagement. The first-party session identifier expires when the browser tab or session ends. Google advertising storage, Google Signals and ad-personalization features are disabled. You can limit cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Analytics is not used to unlock website content or to enrol visitors in marketing.
Registered market access requires a password account, email verification and acceptance of the VOW terms. Marketing consent is presented separately, is not preselected and is not required for access. The registration screen identifies the sender, the subjects of the messages and our contact information before optional consent is given.
Listing alerts activate after the subscriber confirms the email address. One confirmation activates all pending alerts, and an essential secure browser session lets that verified browser add more alerts without another email for up to 90 days. A different browser or device must verify once. Before each alert is created, the form identifies the selected market and price range and explains that confirmation also authorizes occasional Paudyn emails about listings, recent sales, market conditions and related real estate services.
Each marketing email must identify the sender and provide a working unsubscribe method. You can use our unsubscribe page at any time. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails without affecting registered market access, a current property inquiry, client relationship or representation agreement.
Service providers and disclosures
We may give limited information to organizations that help us operate the website and deliver requested services, including Sutton Group - Masters Realty Inc., Brokerage, the website hosting and security platform, Cloudflare infrastructure, Resend email delivery, PropTx or participating real estate boards for MLS® data and compliance, and Google Analytics for traffic and engagement measurement.
These providers may process information outside Ontario or Canada, where it can be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. We remain accountable for personal information under our control and limit providers to the information and purposes reasonably needed for their work. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, a regulator, an MLS® audit or a valid legal process.
Retention schedule
We keep personal information only as long as it remains reasonably necessary for the purpose identified, to meet a legal or contractual requirement, or to allow a person to exercise access rights. The website applies the following schedule:
When a retention period ends, records are deleted, securely destroyed or anonymized. A minimal email suppression record may be kept after unsubscribe so that we do not add the address back to marketing without fresh consent.
Safeguards
We use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including restricted administrative access, authenticated protected areas, encrypted network connections, secret-managed service credentials, database access controls, security logging and limited collection. Access is reviewed and records are removed or de-identified under the retention schedule.
No internet service can promise absolute security. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected people and report it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required. We maintain breach records for the required period.
Your rights
You may ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access to it, challenge its accuracy, ask for a correction, withdraw consent or raise a concern about our practices. We may need to verify your identity and may be unable to delete information that must be retained by law, brokerage regulation, an MLS® agreement or an active legal obligation.
Send a request to Rickypaudyn@gmail.com. We will explain any refusal or limitation and identify available complaint options. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be revised, and material changes will be presented clearly before they apply to new uses of personal information.
